WindRose Health Network (WHN) proudly announces its sustained recognition as a Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) and its newly confirmed Distinction in Behavioral Health Integration. These achievements reflect WHN’s ongoing commitment to delivering comprehensive, coordinated, and patient-focused care across Central and Southern Indiana.
The PCMH Recognition, administered by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA), is awarded to primary care organizations that demonstrate exceptional performance in team-based care, quality improvement, patient-centered access, and care management. The additional Behavioral Health Integration Distinction highlights WindRose’s dedication to embedding mental health and substance use services into its primary care model.
“This recognition is not just a badge—it’s a reflection of our team’s tireless efforts to serve patients with integrity, compassion, and innovation,” said Scott Rollett, Chief Executive Officer of WindRose Health Network. “It affirms that our integrated care model is making a measurable difference in the lives of our patients.”
WHN's recognition stems from its successful adherence to more than 40 core criteria, including providing same-day appointments, offering after-hours access, maintaining up-to-date health assessments, monitoring clinical performance, and systematically following up on referrals and hospitalizations. Additionally, the organization ensures behavioral health screenings and depression screenings are embedded in routine care, reflecting its emphasis on whole-person health.
“Earning both PCMH Recognition and the Behavioral Health Distinction shows how committed our whole team is to doing great work all the time. For our team, quality isn’t just a goal—it’s built into the way we work together every day,” said Laura Pryor, Chief Quality Officer.
WindRose Health Network thanks its entire staff for their dedication to quality care and continuous improvement. The organization remains focused on enhancing patient experience, reducing health disparities, and providing accessible care to over 21,500 patients annually.
