HIV/PrEP Program

Prevent HIV. Take Control of Your Health.

Welcome to the WindRose Health Network's HIV PrEP Program.

We are committed to empowering individuals to protect themselves against HIV transmission with Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP). Whether you are at high risk or simply want to stay informed, our program is here to support you every step of the way.

About PrEP

Pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) is a daily medication that can greatly reduce the risk of contracting HIV. When taken consistently, PrEP has been shown to be up to 99 percent effective in preventing HIV transmission. It's a powerful tool in the fight against HIV.

PrEP Candidates

PrEP is recommended for individuals who are:

  • HIV negative
  • Engage in sexual activity with partners of unknown HIV status or who are HIV positive;
  • Have injected drugs or shared needles in the past six months; or
  • Engage in high-risk behaviors.
