Chris Holmes, M.D. - Pediatrician

Dr. Chris Holmes grew up in Sarasota, Florida. After earning her undergraduate degree in Economics and Politics at Randolph Macon Woman’s College in Virginia, she graduated from medical school with honors at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. She completed her residency training in Pediatrics at the University of California, San Francisco Medical Center. Dr. Holmes is Board Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. Her medical interests include community care of high-risk newborns, children with developmental and behavioral issues and general pediatrics.

Dr. Holmes also holds an Advanced Instructor certification from the North American Riding for the Handicapped Association. She teaches disabled children and adults in a therapeutic horseback-riding program. She is also a coach for Special Olympics Indiana’s equestrian activities.

The rest of her time is occupied by family activities with her husband, two elementary school children, her dog, and two cats.
