The WindRose Health Network’s mission
The mission of the WindRose Health Network is to improve the health status of both its patients and the communities it serves by providing high quality, family-oriented, primary and preventive healthcare services, with a particular emphasis on helping the poor, the medically underserved and vulnerable residents. This mission will be accomplished by:
- evaluating the health and health-related needs of the community
developing and coordinating resources that have an impact on the community’s health care
- providing comprehensive, primary health care services to targeted populations, while accepting all people regardless of ability to pay
- coordinating and case managing the continuum of care for the patient population
- helping patients overcome language, economic, cultural and geographical barriers to obtaining health care
- positively impacting the overall health of the community by:
- promoting community awareness of the need for regular health care, plus
- stressing prevention and health promotion; and
- creating an organization that demonstrates effective project management, high provider productivity, and economic self-sufficiency.
